Manual payment file generation took 4+ hours daily. Finance teams were copy-pasting banking data from Fusion into Excel, reformatting to bank-specific templates, encrypting with PGP, and uploading via FTP. Errors were frequent and audit trails incomplete.
Built a VBCS application for payment initiation with structured approval workflows. OIC integrations automatically extract approved payment batches from Fusion AP, transform to bank-specific formats, apply PGP encryption, and deliver via dedicated SFTP channels.
A global mining enterprise was running 35+ Oracle EBS custom screens across finance and operations. The legacy screens were slow, unsupported, and blocked a move to Oracle Fusion Cloud. A complete re-engineering was required before go-live.
Systematically re-engineered each EBS screen as a VBCS application using Fusion REST APIs. OIC orchestrations replaced the PL/SQL database procedures that backed the EBS forms. BI Publisher reports replaced the legacy Oracle Reports output.
The standard Fusion Order Management screens did not support the client's complex custom pricing rules, multi-level approvals, and order-specific component configurations. Native Fusion customisation was not viable given the business complexity.
Designed and built a standalone VBCS order management application. OIC orchestrations handle order creation and updates in Fusion OM. Oracle Process Cloud Service manages the multi-tier approval routing. ATP Database stores the complex pricing and configuration rules.
