1. Who we are

2. What data we collect

We only collect data you voluntarily provide:

• Contact forms — your name, email address, and message when you submit the contact or topic request form. Processed via FormSubmit.co.
• Newsletter signup — your email address if you subscribe to the blog newsletter.
• Quiz & calculator — answers to the Cloud Readiness Quiz and calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser. We do not store or transmit them unless you choose to email us the results.

We do not collect: payment details, national ID, sensitive personal data, or any data from minors.

3. Cookies

This website uses only essential functional cookies:

• ca-cookie-consent — stores whether you accepted or declined our cookie notice
• ca-theme-variant — stores your colour theme preference (blue, gold, light, forest)
• ca-sticky-dismissed — stores whether you dismissed the contact bar this session

We use no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and no third-party analytics scripts that profile you across websites.

4. How we use your data

• To respond to your project enquiries and questions
• To send blog update emails if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing

5. Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry, and for a maximum of 2 years. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of data we hold about you
• Correction — request we correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your data
• Objection — object to processing of your data

7. Third-party services

• FormSubmit.co — processes contact form submissions. See their privacy policy at formsubmit.co/privacy
• Calendly — if you book a discovery call, Calendly processes your booking data under their own privacy policy at calendly.com/privacy
• Netlify — hosts this website. Netlify may log server access data (IP addresses, page requests) per their privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy

8. Data security

This website is served over HTTPS. Form submissions go directly to our email provider. We do not operate a database storing personal data beyond what email clients retain.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
